Management Concepts

Tim Bowden serves as the General Manager for the People and Performance Consulting division at Management Concepts. In this role, he specializes in creating assessment-based solutions that create sustainable organizational performance improvement. Tim has more than 15 years of experience collaborating with Federal agencies to improve performance by focusing on building effective learning programs, improving process design, and changing culture. He writes extensively on issues of organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.


Prior to joining Management Concepts, Tim was the Assistant Vice President and Manager of the Research Division at Alion Science & Technology, where he managed a portfolio of basic and applied research programs on learning, human performance, and decision-making. In this role, he led the translation of theory and research into practical tools for improving human and system performance in complex military tasks.


A native of Central Florida, Tim earned his BA in Psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
