Patti Stockman has served as NASA Privacy Act and Records Officer since 2002, becoming highly respected throughout NASA and across other agencies as an expert in her fields.
Patti joined the NASA team in 1985, working several years in both Procurement and the Space Station Freedom Projects Office before moving to the information management world of the Johnson Space Center CIO community in Houston.
Believing that information assets are the most valuable and lasting contributions of NASA, Ms. Stockman has led significant initiatives in scheduling records, developing and implementing policies and training, and overseeing massive records disposition and transfers to the National Archives from closing Constellation and Shuttle programs. She overhauled NASA’s policy to bring Records Management into the digital records age of the 21st century.
Ms. Stockman holds a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from University of Houston-Clear Lake.
